University Video Contest - How Does Concrete Improve Your Life?

University students in Florida are called to enter the concrete video contest hosted by the Florida Concrete & Products Association!

University students are to get creative and shot a 1-3 minute video explaining "How concrete improves your life." Videos will be judged based on the quality, title, spirit, video likes and views.

1. Shoot a 1-3 minute video about "How concrete improves your life." Be creative! Learn the benefits of concrete block at www.blockstrong.com and concrete paving at www.pavewise.com to get informed.

2. Share your video with us by sharing a link to your video file on a sharing service like WeTransfer or DropBox. 

3. Fill out the registration form below along with your video link. There is no cost to compete. Video needs to be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on Monday, April 15, 2024.

4. The Florida Concrete & Products Association will post approved videos up on their YouTube channel for Likes/Views.

5. Likes and Views will be tabulated on May 15 and judging will begin. 

6. Winners will be announced in June, 2024.

7. Which university/college will rise to the top and have bragging rights?

This contest is for university students taking 10 or more credit hours. Architecture, engineering, school of construction students and the like are encouraged to enter.

Cash prizes will be awarded for the following:

  • 1st Place - $3,000
  • Runner Up - $1,500

Teams can consist of one or more people.

VIEW RULES

Videos will be judged based on the following criteria:

  • Association Panel of Judges – 50%
  • Video Title – 10%
  • School Spirit – 10%
  • Likes – 20%
  • Views – 10%
